The Cell Wall Biology and Utilization Research Unit (CWBURU) in Madison WI is seeking a Research Animal Microbiologist/Animal Scientist. The mission is to provide solutions to the dairy industry for food security, environmental sustainability, and economic viability. The focus will include basic physiological and/or immunological factors influencing animal and rumen development, including host-microbiome interactions, that support enhanced productivity and longevity of dairy cows through improved developmental nutrition and health and to address key knowledge gaps in understanding the interplay of early life microbial, physiological, environmental, and immunological factors in developing dairy heifers.
