The City of Aurora is now hiring for multiple Engineering roles in the Public Works Department. New Employees are eligible for a $5,000 Bonus; with $2,500 paid on the first payroll, and $2,500 paid upon successful completion of the 6 month introductory period.

Sustainability and Energy Engineer:

The Sustainability and Energy Engineer will be responsible for a variety of engineering and technical tasks primarily focusing on the maintenance and energy management for the facilities. These responsibilities generally include evaluating energy usage and options for energy reduction on city buildings, development of the energy master plan and implementation of energy related capital projects including energy recovery options. This position will lead City-wide energy conservation and sustainability efforts.

Salary to be commensurate with experience.

The Hiring range for this position is $85,346.62-$133,354.10/Annually.

Project Engineer- Facilities Project Delivery:

Facilities Project Delivery is involved on the planning, reviewing, developing and coordinating the design of city owned buildings. Responsibility and roles within the organization include: project management of capital improvements. Project management includes project planning, design, budget management and other duties as assigned.
