Meter Relay Technician
DEFINITION: Under direct supervision, responsible for testing, installing, repairing, and maintaining District metering and system relays.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION Ensure that work is done in accordance with accepted standards and safe work Maintain single and polyphase meters, power plant meters, substation meters and intertie meters. Develop program(s) for solid state metering for field Install and maintain Automated Meter Reading (AMR) and/or Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, pulse recorders, and other metering ancillary Install three?phase metering and current transformers in electrical panels (0 to 600 volts). Program and install relays for substation feeder
