About Us

This career opportunity is for a full time, Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Boulder, CO.  We are currently working in a hybrid mode, with a mixture of in-office and work-from-home.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage electrical project teams and attend project meetings
• Perform NEC demand/load calculations, short circuit calculations, lighting calculations (AGI software knowledge desired), and voltage drop calculations
• Generate one-line diagrams and electrical details
• Perform complete power design for building electrical systems and outdoor public spaces including code research, equipment power connections, panel board circuit layout and loading, and controls
• Write and edit project construction specifications
• Review shop drawings, equipment submittals, perform site observations, and punch lists
• Coordinate on site with electrical contractor

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor of Science in Architectural or Electrical Engineering or other related engineering degree
• Minimum of 5-years experience engineering electrical systems for buildings
• Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
• Creative thinking and problem solving
• Good communication skills - written and verbal
• Strong background in AutoCAD, Revit, ComCheck, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Willing and able to self-learn new software
