The Project Manager will be responsible for providing planning or multi-discipline architectural and engineering design services on multiple projects in support of the firm's aviation practice. Candidates must be able to provide project management for many different types of projects that may include transportation, land use, or public space planning and engineering design that may include roadway and highway design, facility design, stormwater drainage and stormwater management design, and utility design. In addition to planning and design responsibilities, the individual must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple engineering and planning projects in addition to managing personnel, budgets, schedules, subconsultants, and all necessary client interaction.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
Lead internal and external projects in planning and design including architecture and engineering design
Organize and manage task workloads within established budget and schedule guidelines
Provide management of multiple tasks and the overall projects including staff of the Aviation practice or staff of various practices, service lines, or disciplines within the company
Establish budgets forecasts, manpower estimates, and schedules
Lead communication between internal design practices and external consultants/subconsultants
Job Requirements:
Required – Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program
and/or Bachelor of Architecture from an AAB Accredited Program
and/or licensure in the United States as either
Required – Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Planner (PP), Architect (AIA) or Registered Architect (RA), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Preferred – Minimum of 7 years of design experience in Project Planning, Engineering and Construction projects with a minimum of 3 years of project management experience
