IDS ENGINEERING DIVISION MANAGER
FUNCTION This position will report directly to the Chief Engineer for Planning and Land Development, and directs, manages, and oversees the Installation and Development Services (IDS) Division. SUMMARY The IDS Division consists of five core functions: Donated Project Review; New Service Installations; Backflow Reviews and Compliance; Material and Specifications Support; and Construction Inspection Services. This position requires extensive technical ability and leadership skills to ensure that the teams’ activities support the department’s strategic priorities ensuring that policies, ordinances, development standards, and local plan approval processes (awarded through NC-DEQ) are implemented correctly.
