The SCOT Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team is seeking a Research Scientist to join the team. SOP is responsible for creating weekly inbound, outbound and forecast at product family and sort type level for each marketplace worldwide. Scientists in S&OP build best-in-class models and solutions to support network and fulfillment center flow planning to expedite our sales growth, meet capacity constraints and be resilient to uncertainty. You will own the development of and models and continuing to raise the bar for creating scalable, efficient and automated solutions for the and complex problem.
This position requires solid and broad training in mathematical and statistical algorithms as well as familiarity to business intelligence and data engineering practices. The successful candidate will have strong ownership, dive , learn and be curious. The successful candidate needs be comfortable with ambiguity, be capable of working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, transform business problems into prototypes and support system integration and production.
