| The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University (Ithaca campus) seeks a highly qualified structural engineer to join our faculty as a Professor of Practice. While a Ph.D. is not required, candidates must have P.E. or S.E. licensure, at least ten years of distinguished professional practice as a structural engineer, and strong industry linkages. The successful candidate will teach courses in structural design of buildings and/or bridges (steel and reinforced/prestressed concrete), oversee our professional masters degree program in structural engineering, and foster internship and entry-level hiring opportunities with industrial partners.
