WHO YOU ARE:

Experienced: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Transportation Planning, or similar. Master’s degree preferred. 5+ years of environmental/transportation/land use experience, with at least 2+ years in a consulting environment. 

Talented: You excel at providing environmental planning services while partnering with engineers, resource specialists, biologists, and senior planners.  Job responsibilities include conducting and/or supporting NEPA and SEPA impact analyses, assisting project coordination of EISs and EAs, and preparing related environmental documentation; assisting with environmental permitting efforts, including local land use applications; and developing documentation for a variety of planning studies. Geospatial capabilities are desirable but not essential.

Relationship-focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, team player and you thrive on developing rapport with others to maintain quality delivery.

Passionate about writing: This position spends a lot of time focused on writing and analysis. The successful candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable with working in a team environment on large, complex projects. You must enjoy writing, have progressive writing experience on previous environmental projects and have received high remarks on written documents.

Hard Working: You care deeply about delivering for your clients and your diligent, quality work reflects this. The environmental team works hard and is looking for someone to support them as they effectively deliver important local and regional projects.
