QA Manager
The QA Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Quality as it relates to Products which originate from the Littelfuse SBU Beverly Factory. Scope of ownership responsibilities include (1) Team Management, (2) Quality Systems Management, (3) Manufacturing Quality oversite (in transition), (4) Supplier Quality Management, (5) Customer Complaint Resolution, (6) New Product Introduction (NPI) oversight (in transition) and (7) Change Management Process (in transition). The Plant Quality Manager’s primary role will be to provide Leadership to achieve World Class Quality levels with the highest levels of Customer Satisfaction for Littelfuse SBU Beverly Products. ?
About the Job:
Quality Management System - For quality and environmental management systems including conformance to established standards (i.e., ISO 9000, ISO 14001 &IATF 16949). This also includes Customer and/or Certifying Body Audits.
Quality Control - Setting standards and procedures, adopt error proof methodology all the time to achieve the target of 0 defect.
Customer Focus - Ensure that a proper customer complaint handling and tracking process is in place to manage customer complaints in an effective manner.
Provide leadership and management for quality department - Develop quality department personnel by performance evaluation and appraisals, identifying internal and external training and performing reviews.
Foster a Continuous Improvement Culture - Promote a continuous improvement culture through team-work based activities.
Manage the transition from ISO 9001 to IATF 16949 level of QMS. Progress will be prioritized based on available resources.
Working to enhancing Qualities role in (1) Manufacturing Quality, (2) NPI’s and Change Management Process. Progress will be prioritized based on available resources.
About You:
Engineering B.S. degree from a four-year College or University preferred; advanced degree a plus.
QA experience
Able to properly manage and resolve quality escalation issues.
Ability to support the customer design and supplier quality engineers.
Experience in managing customer complaint team investigations ensuring responses are effective and efficient; ability to identify complaint trends and underlying chronic problems.
Demonstrated strong understanding of fact-based decision-making and analytical processes related to quality management and process improvement.
Demonstrated ability to influence others and work in a cross-functional team environment.
Demonstrated ability to deal with conflict, able to effectively communicate ideas and positions and be an active listener.
A history of delivering exceptional results (strong personal performance).
A full complement of PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Minitab, Project Mgmt., etc.).
Ability to work in multi-cultural environment across different time zones.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
