Menifee is seeking a highly qualified Public Works Director/City Engineer to oversee and direct all activities of the Public Works and Engineering Department. Candidates must possess five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in municipal engineering and public works administration with at least three (3) years of supervisory experience overseeing the development of capital improvement and land development projects. Experience as a director, deputy, or assistant director of public works is preferable. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in civil engineering or a related field is required. Registration in California as a professional civil engineer is required. The annual salary range for the Public Works Director/City Engineer position $161,397.50-$207,109.44 (Increases 3% or CPI on July 1, 2021); placement within this range is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
