Dadson Consulting, Inc. (DCI), established in 2004 in Prince William County, Virginia, is a structural engineering design firm specialized in the design, inspection and management of infrastructure such as bridge and highway structures. DCI has designed projects either as a prime or teamed with large design firms as a sub-consultant. DCI engineers have been involved in a number of large projects in the DC region including VDOT Transform I-66 Outside the Beltway, VDOT’s Woodrow Wilson, VDOT Route 28 PPTA and DDOT’s 11th Street and South Capitol Street Corridor Bridge Projects. DCI has also designed small projects for cities, authorities and private clients including DC Government, City of Fairfax, Fairfax County Park Authority, and Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (MWAA). The projects have varied from vehicular and pedestrian bridge designs, retaining walls, signal pole foundation analysis and design, Interstate sign attachment, structural inspections and evaluations. DCI has experience in structural rehabilitation and replacement bridge projects.

• Steel bridges including HPS, straight and curved bridges.
• Concrete bridges including precast prestressed.
• Retaining and free standing walls (concrete, masonry or timber) including MSE, Tie-backs, Soldier Pile and Lagging, and Traditional Cantilever.
• Foundation analysis including spread footings, piles and drilled shafts.
• Structural inspection and evaluation of bridges, retaining walls, and culverts.
• Pedestrian bridges.
• Mast arm, span wire and strain pole analysis and foundation designs.
• Cost estimation.
• Construction drawings development and shop drawing reviews.
• Construction administration services.
