The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Temple University invites applications for a tenure track (TT) faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in geotechnical engineering.  Preferred areas of research expertise, but not limited to, are:  Resiliency and durability of infrastructure systems; innovative use of geo-materials; and multi-scale computational modeling, including use of big data, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.  The department is particularly interested in applicants whose geotechnical research and teaching efforts are interdisciplinary with other areas of civil engineering, such as structural, pavement, and environmental engineering.
