Applegate Group, Inc. is actively seeking a Water Resource Engineer for its Denver, Colorado office. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in civil engineering or related field, with 2 to 3 years related experience in water resources engineering. This position will be focused on water supply infrastructure design (e.g., hydrologic and hydraulic analyses), and there may also be opportunities to work on water planning and water rights projects. Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam is required, and a Professional Engineer license is preferred but not required.
Experience with GIS, water related infrastructure required; some knowledge of Colorado water rights and water supply planning is also preferred. Candidates should demonstrate skills to communicate with a varied audience. Candidates should also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
