The McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a potential faculty position as tenure-track Assistant Professor in Information Management, starting in Fall 2020. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to high quality research and teaching in information management, including those with interests in business analytics, blockchain, IoT, and emerging fields. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in information management (or allied disciplines like computer science) or expect to complete their degree before Fall 2020. Irrespective of the research interests, candidates who can teach technical subjects such as programming, databases, data science, blockchain, machine learning, or other technical subjects will be given preference. As a campus with a continually growing diverse student body, we strongly encourage women, minorities, and individuals with a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion to apply.
