Voltea is a multinational provider of innovative water treatment solutions who services residential, commercial, municipal and industrial customers. Our comprehensive line of tunable water deionization technology (CapDI) is designed to remove dissolved salts from a wide variety of water sources ranging from tap water to industrial process water.
Because of strong growth we are currently seeking to hire experienced Water Treatment Sales Manager to develop our business in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Cafe (HoReCa) industry, residential and light commercial verticals for two of our NSF approved product lines, DiUse and DiEntry.
DiUse, our newest product, is a miniaturized version of our current system, specifically made for Point-of-Use applications. DiUse softens and desalination brackish water for homes and businesses at an advantage to traditional desalination technologies due to it being a salt-free, chemical-free alternative.
DiEntry, is a next generation home water purification system that addresses the most pressing water issues in the market: quality, taste and waste. DiEntry does more than purify water, it allows a home’s water to be customized to the needs of the homeowner and community, all while wasting less water and improving the homeowner’s environmental footprint. DiEntry is simple to install, use and maintain, requiring no salt and a smaller overall footprint than other home water treatment systems, resulting in a lower total cost of ownership.
In the role of Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing distribution, dealer, and rep partners in the industrial, residential and commercial markets. There is a strong sales support function in this role as it would be expected that you would work closely with your channel partners and their end users to ensure revenue and technology adoption goals are met.
To be successful in this role, you would be expected to do the following:
Strategic ability to identify and pursue key markets in your territory where Voltea can most leverage our technology.
Leverage prospecting skills to identify, qualify and sign channel partners to build a dealer/distribution network within your territory.
Prospect for potential new clients, OEMs, resellers and agents to actively pursue qualified leads that result into increased business.
Cold call as appropriate within territory to develop, maintain and grow a robust pipeline of opportunities and increase visibility of sales funnel.
Coordination and planning of business meetings, trips, conferences (including WQA) and presentations.
Keeping track of projects opportunities and maintain constant communication with existing customers, accounts and new prospects.
Regular follow up of existing customers and accounts to ensure customer satisfaction of existing operations with support from project management team.
Close complex, medium and long sell cycle sales with individual and corporate accounts.
Develop a thorough understanding of our Voltea’s company and technology and the ability to effectively articulate this value to the market.
Ability to operate with a sense of urgency, be aggressive, competitive, and demonstrate a positive, winning attitude.
Ability to clearly articulate the company’s offerings and develop solutions for customers and prospects.
Strong relationship building skills are essential.
Exceptional overall communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment where you are expected to work independently with team input on strategy.
5-7 years of product sales into a technical/educated market
Demonstrated top tier sales performance (your results are within the top 10% of your peers)
A formal understanding of and experience with Solution / Consultative Selling is required.
