Design bridges, culverts, walls, sign structures and similar structures
Direct the preparation of contract plans
Check work of junior engineers
Visit project sites that may be under construction to collect information
Write reports, specifications and correspondence
Review contractor submittals such as working drawings and RFIs.
BS in Civil Engineering with concentration in Structural Engineering
PE license in NJ, NY or PA with ability to obtain NJ PE within six months
Ten years of progressive structural design experience
Proficiency with MSWord and Excel, and Microstation or Autocad
Strong communications skills
MS in Structural Engineering, finite element modelling and construction experience are a plus
