The Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering (CCEE) at Marquette University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor position in Civil Engineering/Infrastructure. This position is expected to be filled at the assistant professor level; however, exceptional candidates for associate professor rank will also be considered. The Department is seeking candidates with expertise in transportation planning, traffic operations, transportation safety, transportation materials, flexible pavements, ridged pavements, transportation construction or other areas related to infrastructure/transportation engineering. Applicants with expertise in geotechnical engineering, resilient and sustainable infrastructure, forensic engineering and public works engineering will be considered as well. The Marquette campus is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the shore of Lake Michigan, in a region with over 2 million people and opportunities for local, state and federal infrastructure/transportation research.
