The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University (http://www.aere.iastate.edu) invites applications for a Senior Lecturer position, starting date negotiable. We are seeking an outstanding individual to serve the department's educational mission through instruction in the area of Air Vehicle Design to support the department's design sequence. Successful applicants are expected to develop and teach capstone design courses consistent with the department's historical dedication to strong teaching and to be an advocate for the Aerospace program. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, exhibit a commitment to diversity/inclusivity, and contribute to the mission of the department.

Must possess an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field, and six (6) years of relevant teaching experience; or a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field, and at least twelve (12) years of relevant teaching experience at the start of employment.
Must have significant experience in the following areas: computational fluid dynamics, air vehicle design, wind tunnel testing, air vehicle design using integrated solid modelling and flowfield computation.
PhD in Aerospace Engineering or closely related field.
Experience in the aerospace industry.
Experience in applied CFD.
Familiarity with applied aircraft design.
Familiarity with flight-testing of prototype configurations.
