The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the following:
Assist with the management of the Quality Department in support of the Director of Quality.
Quality Improvement and Control. Utilize best practice methodologies to lead and participate in product and process improvement projects focused on identifying and eliminating the causes of variation, reducing waste and the cost of poor quality associated with product nonconformance, customer complaints and warranty.
Ensure the KMS Quality Management System (QMS) is fully compliant with the requirements of ISO9001.
Manage the resolution of individual customer reported quality issues.
Support Manufacturing. Address product nonconformities, NCR's, DCR's and RFD's and scrap reduction. Complete and assist with the maintenance of Process Maps and Control Plans that outline the critical quality control points.
Manage specific product and process quality projects.
Manage the Internal Quality Audit Program; Develop audit schedule, help train internal auditors, conduct audits
Assist with the management of the Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) Program
Assist with Customer and Supplier Audits

Work Experience / Education / Skills Required
5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer
5 years of experience with ISO9001:2015
Strong project management skills
Proficiency with MS OFFICE (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), MS Access) Minitab is a plus
ASQ CQE / Auditor Certified (Desired)
