The Quality Assurance Coordinator assists with administration of all aspects of the company Quality Assurance Program. The position is necessary to assist in delivering on QA departmental tasks to meet the goals of the company.
**Will also consider those with Supervisor experience for a QA Supervisor role**
The QA Coordinator communicates with appropriate company personnel as required by projects. This will include creation of detailed reports as needed. Participates in cross-functional problem solving projects on parts or processes within the company. These can be related to customer complaints, issues found during PPAP and qualification verification, high rejection and return rates and returned product analysis.
Prepares quality assurance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data. Assists in analyzing large amounts of data from various sources and creates meaningful summaries. Coordinates and performs gage calibration and works with vendor(s) to also schedule the calibrations. Aids in the maintenance of the inspection check sheets, QA Non-Conformance area inventory, customer returns and other required documentation within the QA department.
Administration of customer complaints and monitoring of returns to help determine where emphasis should be placed to prevent recurrence and identify emerging trends.
Ensure timeliness, clarity and accuracy of all technical documentation and correspondence.
Maintain customer satisfaction and focus. This position requires excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people both inside and outside the company.

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience as an inspector, preferably in job shop or manufacturing environment
Completion of course work in blueprint reading and measuring
Experience with fabrication or forming of plastics helpful but not necessary
ASQ Membership and certification in any area desired (i.e. CQIA, CQT, CQA, CMI, CQE)
