The Cellasto Quality Manager is accountable for all quality control, quality assurance, quality system, tolling and TS16949 (IATF16949) activities of the regional Cellasto business to ensure products are brought to market, produced, and shipped on time, at budgeted cost, with consistent quality and in a safe manner. This position leads the NCM (Non-Conformance Management) process (internal and external) to ensure customer satisfaction and timely investigation into root cause analysis with corrective action implementation. The individual is an integral member of the regional Cellasto Leadership Team establishing and executing strategic targets and driving continuous improvement. This highly influential and empowered individual will be an active force to shape the quality culture and develop the future of the business. The Quality Manager interacts weekly with customers and suppliers to resolve concerns and to enhance relationships.

Formula for Success: You Will…
Provide inspirational, entrepreneurial, and innovative leadership to 6 direct reports, 5 indirect reports who supervise approximately 80 inspectors and assembly personnel, and a tolling network of over 3 service providers.
Direct the efforts of the quality control and quality assurance (facilities, personnel and service providers), ensuring business quality requirements are met.
Fulfill the role of Quality Management Representative for the regional Cellasto business and ensure implementation and continuation of TS16949 (IATF16949) certification, achievement of customer-specific requirements, and maintain the health of the quality management system.
Meet targets for quality and other business relevant KPls such as safety, costs, and supply reliability. Establish, track, and meet quality targets consistent with Cellasto business objectives. Develop the budget for the quality department that meets business expectations. Track performance to budget and implement solutions to improve and optimize as needed.
Manage all quality functions: Quality Control & Tolling/Quality Systems, Customer requirements/Quality Assurance, and supplier development.
Work closely with business management to identify "Cost of Poor Quality" and champion corrective actions to reduce and eliminate root cause.
Manage the interface between sales and engineering, operations, supply chain, external tollers, and quality to ensure execution of BASF Quality initiatives and policies.
Prioritize work and capacity utilization whenever conflicts exist.
Ensure best practices in all aspects of the organization are shared and implemented.
Maintain prompt and thorough root cause investigations of customer complaints and internal quality deviations with a strong emphasis on corrective and preventative actions. Hold responsibility for the nonconformance management system to ensure timely creation and completion of NCMs, including customer complaints, warranty claims, supplier non-conformances, and internal non-conformances.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, or management discipline required.
A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems managing a staff of 10 or more in an automotive manufacturing environment.
At least 12 years of experience in automotive quality systems standards such as TS16949 and familiarity with OEM quality management procedures, such as GM, VW, BMW, Ford, or Tier1.
Experience leading continuous improvement projects in manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations.
Black Belt certification through a Six Sigma accredited organization preferred.
Good knowledge of Quality core tools 8D, FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and MSA.
ISO 9001:2015 internal Auditor and TS16949 (IATF16949) internal Auditor certification preferred.
Experience through project assignment or job function with automotive discrete part production including chemical or mechanical processes, component assembly, material flow, inventory management, supply chain processes, and quality control.
Developed competency in project management, customer specifications, production facilities and capability requirements, team leadership and collaboration, and supplier selection.
